Foreword

2023 JSAE Annual Congress (Spring) takes place as a hybrid event.

1. As part of our COVID-19 pandemic social restriction measures, the number of participants allowed at the venue is limited.
2. Maximum numbers of participants vary depending on the session. You can book sessions you would like to attend via our Session Booking System opening on April 1st.
3. Please note that we will close our booking for the venue once the applications have reached the maximum number.
4. The entire event may be held virtually when an in-person event is difficult.
5. Those who have registered to in-person event will also have access to virtual hearings.

Title	Innovation beyond the industries
Speaker	Takafumi　Anegawa (Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. Fellow)
Summary	To mitigate the impacts of climate change, both the automobile industry and the energy industry are required drastic change. Innovation through the collaboration of both industries needs to solve this difficult problem. We are now promoting the effective use of batteries loaded on EVs for the mass introduction of renewable energy. Furthermore, there are great expectations for the engineering capabilities of the automobile industry in the development of wind power generation.
