The future of mobility created by the fusion of new technologies
Cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of next-generation mobility will gather in Yokohama, as the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. (President: Kunio Nakaguro) hosts the 32nd “Automotive Engineering Exposition 2025 YOKOHAMA” from Wednesday, May 21 to Friday, May 23 at Pacifico Yokohama.
This year’s in-person event will be the largest ever, featuring 617 exhibitors across 1,470 booths. Among them, 17 companies will unveil world-first technologies. With accelerating integration of AI, digital transformation (DX), and autonomous driving, the exposition offers a valuable opportunity to experience the forefront of the automotive industry.
In parallel, the JSAE Annual Congress(Spring ) will be held at the same venue, including academic lectures, a networking session for young engineers, and more—fostering collaboration between research and industry
Press/Media Hour
A designated "Press/Media Hour" will be held on the opening day, Wednesday, May 21, to provide media representatives with priority access to the exhibition.

Lecture Title:Expanding the Mobility Industry in the Era of Electrification and Intelligence
Abstract:As EV-focused automakers such as Tesla and BYD rapidly gain market share and global competition intensifies, the automotive industry is undergoing a transformation into a broader "mobility industry." This shift is expanding the industry's value chain and ecosystem. Mr. Mibe will discuss this transformation, highlighting Honda's initiatives that aim to achieve both innovation in mobility and the pursuit of environmental sustainability and safety.
We will set up a press and media room at the venue.
